Our Story
A Georgian Gem with Modern Comforts
Nestled in the heart of Coleshill, Springfield House at 69 Coventry Road is a charming late 18th-century Georgian townhouse, recognised for its architectural character and Grade II listed status. Built in the late 1700s, the house features classic Georgian proportions, red brick walls, sash windows, and period details including a beautifully preserved staircase and traditional fireplaces.
Springfield House first opened its doors to guests in 1997, bringing warm hospitality to visitors of Coleshill and the wider West Midlands. Over the years, it has been lovingly run by only three couples, each continuing the tradition of personalised service and a homely atmosphere. In March 2019, James and Hansel took over the B&B, blending modern comforts with the house’s historic charm to create a truly memorable stay for every guest.
Today, Springfield House offers a unique combination of historic character, cosy comfort, and attentive hospitality. Whether you’re visiting for leisure, business, or to attend one of the many events at nearby venues, we aim to make every stay special — all in a house that has been welcoming guests for over two decades.
